Wm. Faircloth, before Johnston Co., NC

I found this posting when I searched for Faircloth on another site:

"FAIRCLOTH - Searching for all descendants and records of the FAIRCLOTH family. William FAIRCLOTH Jr. (II) obtained a land patent in Isle of Wight Co. in 1713. He died in 1727, leaving a will naming sons Benjamin, Moses, Samuel and William Jr. (III) and daus. Elizabeth FAIRCLOTH MERCER, Sarah FAIRCLOTH (m. John R. REVELL) and Hannah FAIRCLOTH. Some of his children settled in NC and have since spread all over the nation. FAIRCLOTH Family Association"

Is this William Faircloth connected to the William Faircloth (b. abt. 1725) who later owned land in Johnston/Dobbs/Lenoir Co., NC?
