Dear Mary Catherine, Yes, my great, great grandfather was William Chester Faircloth (son of Isaiah and Mary Letty Faircloth). I found census records that tied William to Isaiah and then found a Family Tree Maker WFT disc that detailed the information on Isaiah's children. Here is what I have from William forward: William Chester FAIRCLOTH, married 24 Dec 1888 in Cumberland County NC, Ida B SIMMONS. William was born 10 Sep 1867 NC and died 30 Oct 1942 in Melrose, Putnam Co, FL. Ida was born 8 Aug 1869 NC and died 14 Sep 1942 in Melrose, FL. They are both buried in Eliam Baptist Cemetery in Melrose. From the 1900 Census of Brooks County, GA, I was able to determine they had at least 4 children: According to my grandmother, William and Ida Faircloth re-located to Clermont, Citrus County, FL in the early 1900's and then ended up in Putnam County, FL, finally settling there and living out their lives. I believe William's occupation was of turpentiner. I would love to share information on this family and hopefully find the ancestry of Isaiah Faircloth. Thanks for your post. Ken Fredriksson
