PATIENCE was the daughter of JOHN FAIRCLOTH JR. She was born about 1810 near Autryville in Sampson County NC. Her siblings: MARY, MARGARET, JACOB, THOMAS DIDYMUS, AND JOHN ALLEN FAIRCLOTH. She married DAVID B STANLEY on 27 February 1825 in Henry County. Of interest: Her father was a member of the 1st Board of County Commissioners, Henry County along with JAMES BENNETT and SION SMITH. JOHN JR died in Henry County. His sons and his brother left there and went to Jackson County, FL. They all left there in 1860 going to LA except one son, THOMAS DIDYMUS, went to Texas.
