Millie, my father was Amos James Faircloth, Jr. If my research is correct, his father, Amos James, Sr., was the son of John R. Faircloth (1854-1935) and Elizabeth Coleman (b.1860-?).

John R. Faircloth's parents were Enoch J. Faircloth (5/22/1832-4/12/1907) and Rachel Hayes (9/12/1932-1/30/1885). All of the above around Emanual County, GA.

Up one more generation is where we seem to have a connection. Enoch J. Faircloth had a sister, Elmira Livina. I also show Mary and Gracy (twins-1843), Alexander 1848 and George Washington Faircloth, 1826. I go back to 2 more generations to Enoch's father and mother, James L. Benjamin Faircloth b 1804 and Elender b1815 in SC. Then James L. Benjamin Faircloth I have as son of Benjamin Faircloth 1765 - this is where I get a little uncertain and this line stops. If anyone can confirm or add to the above I would be very grateful.
