Davis Faircloth died in Baker/Mitchell Co., GA ca. 1848. Legal Notices in Albany, GA news papers of 25 November, 1848; 25 March, 1849; July 1849; and 9 November, 1849 have Matthew Moore as the administrator of his estate.
Matthew Moore was married to Elizabeth Faircloth b. 1819,
daughter of Thomas Faircloth and Mary Thornton.
Does anyone know the relationship of Davis Faircloth to Elizabeth and her father, Thomas Faircloth?
Thomas died in 1831.
In the 1830 Baker County Census Davis and Thomas are shown in the 60-70 age column.
