LEMUEL FAIRCLOTH, ASA F M FAIRCLOTH

I have a marriage record for Lemuel Faircloth in Leon County FL - Sarah Walker Jan 15, 1839. I think this was either a sister or daughter to Louisa Walker that married Allen D Faircloth 1829 in Leon County FL.

He appears on the 1850 census in Bossier Cty LA.

I have a marriage record Bossier Cty LA, Oct 4, 1851, Mrs Amar Prevost.

I have the 1860 census record in Bossier Cty LA, last name spelled Fairecloth, first name Lem. 40, Jane A 35, William 8, George 6, John 4, Julia 2.

I have the children in the household of Emma Faircloth in Bossier Cty LA, Emma 35, James 16, George 14, Thomas 13, John 12, Van Buren 9, Edward 7, Robert 5.

It is my theory that James, Thomas, Edward and Van Buren may be the sons of Asa F M Faircloth that married Sarah Williams Jan 15, 1850. Asa and Sarah appear on the 1850 census in Polk County TX. stating Asa age 18 from FL. Asa later married Margaret Williams Nov 4, 1865 in Harris TX. I am hoping to connect this family to my Gr Grandmother Amanda E Faircloth born Sep 1864 that married Joseph Warren Dec 24, 1886 in Wharton TX.

Thanks Trish
