Greetings Cousins!
Andrew, I appreciate your response. There were too many Arthurs floating around Sampson county during this time frame, it seems... From what I've found, it seems that the more likely candidates for the parents of Isaiah are Samuel (1760-1807) and Achsah Sessoms (1761-1805). According to the 1810 US census, Arthur and Mary McDaniel had three sons and three daughters, the sons being Benjamin, Solomon, and Theophilus.. The Arthur I'm looking at was originally married to Catherine Owens and later to Catherine Fisher. I have second hand research that Smithwick, Lillington, Barnabus, Isaiah, Raiford, and Caleb were their sons, but thusfar have no primary documentation...

Thanks for the Help!
Robert
