Perhaps you can help me. I am searching for the parents of Floyd Baldwin b: 1895. He is shown living in 1910 with Mary C summerfield age 69 and Ida summerfield age 39. Floyd is shown as 14 yrs old and is shown as the grandson of Mary C. I find later in 1920 Floid (as is spelled on the census) is 24 years old and married to Cora Fairburn. Two children Nellie age 8 and Garnet age 5. I was told from relatives there was a lot of native american indian in the family (assuming Floyd). They are shown living in Dry Fork, Tucker, Wv.. I did find a WW1 draft Reg. 1917-1918 showing "Floy J William Fairburn" (signed Floyd William Fairburn) showing b-day 3 Sep. 1895 Caucasian county Mercer. It shows Princeton WV as address and shows Born in Randolph Co. WV. He worked for Virginian Railway. The family eventually moved to Ohio.
