Ruth Fairbanks and John (and/or William??) Field are my 8x-great grandparents. I am descended from their daughter Hannah, who married James Mathewson. Line emigrated to VT (via upstate NY) in the mid 1700's, where my ancestors stayed until after the Civil War. Would be delighted to find some ancestors and cousins for Miss Ruth!
