looking for any connections for Agnes Fairbairn who married Robert Turnbull in Stitchel, Roxburghshire 7 Jun 1788 - there is a second marriage on 26 Jun 1788 in Smailholm - I believe her parents were John Fairbairn and Margaret Walker - She and Robert had at least four sons William b. 1789, John b. 1792 (emigrated to Canada), William b. 1795, James b.1798 (from whom I am descended) - James had a daughter, Agnes Fairbairn Turnbull, who married John Joseph White and emigrated to Australia
