My family tree comes from Kelso? Scotland to Brockville , Ontario. Then it continues to Leadville, Colorado and Berthod Colorado. I Don't know the port of entry. There are a number of Georges in the line. One ancestor in Scotland claimed to be related to the well known Scottish Engineering Fairburns. Sanna Gafney is where I received this Information. In our line there are some notables. Bruce Fairbairn the record producer, (Bon Jovi), and Doug Fairbairn (First portable computer). Have you researched the information on Robin Hood and origins of the Fairbairn name. Tell me more.
