Dear Liz,

Sorry I haven't responded before this. I have information on James G. Fair, my great-great uncle. He apparently was one of the "Silver Kings" in the Nevada Comstock Lode. He was one of the weathiest men in the world in the late 1800's. He was my great-grandmother's brother. He was apparently 10 years younger than my great-grandmother. His wife divorced him and obtained a 5 million dollar settlement (unheard of in those days). His family (daughters) didn't have much to do with him and he died in obscurity in the late 1800's. I have a book on him and would be glad to share info. Are you related?
