Hello Dermot Fair,
I am the culprit for misspelling Ireland. I couldn't change it after I sent it. I would love to say I am related to you. My Fair family came from Northern Ireland to Canada (Toronto area)sometime aroung the 1840's and 1850's but I have no records from exactly where. My Great grandfather was David Fair who married Catherine Mitchell in Ireland. That is all I can tell you. I know they were related to the James G. Fair family from the Comstock mines in Virginia City, Nevada sometime in the late 1800's. That family came from Northern Ireland. Wish I could make a better connection. I really want to find my Fair relatives in Ireland.
Diana
