In my grandmother's old photos there is a picture taken outside a farmhouse of a group of about 45 people marked "Fair Family Reunion" in her handwriting. The location would have been Dahlonega, Wapello County, Iowa probably about 1900 perhaps. I am hoping there are descendants who are familiar with this photo and have some information about who is pictured. A short description of the lineage is:
John Fair (1807-1891) and Rebecca Fisher Fair (1810-1872) are buried in Agency, IA and the parents of Ellen Fair (1842-1933) married Jacob Lowenberg (1838-1922). They were the parents of Delpha Lowenberg (1864-1936) who married Joseph Clinton Miller (1858-1929), who were the parents of my grandmother, Madge Ethel Miller Graham (1890-1982).
Other surnames married into the Fair family in the area are Pfeiffer, Will, Giltner, Clements, Dimmit, among others.
