I also descend from Mary Paramore and Thomas Fain. If you are familiar with the community of Parramore in Jackson County Florida, you know that this very old community is very near the Georgia state line and the county of Decatur County GA. Before the community was named Parramore, a famous family of Perrymans lived there. I have a hunch that Perryman was changed to Parramore but it was the same family. From Mary Parramore's descendants were several descendants named Osceola, This name runs throughout her descendants, especially through her daughter, Mary Fain to her daughter Lavinia Martin and to Lavinia's son, Osceola Byrd and her grandchildren.
Has anyone else noticed a different spelling of Parramore or Perryman?
Oral tradition passed to our family is that this family was French and Indian.
