The land you described is not the land won in Lottery in 1829. FAIN by Agnes Perritt Axson pg 18--1827-On Oct.27 Robt. Watson sold to Thomas Fain, of Decatur Co. for the sum of $100.00 a tract of land situated abd being Lot 54, of the 22nd District, containing 250 acres. Wit: Thomas P. Fain, John Rogers and George Brewer. Recorded Aug. 9, 1828, Book "A" pgs. 254-5, Public Records of Decatuer County Ga.. This lot is adjacent to lot 55 purchased in 1824. 1829-Thomas Fain, Revolutionary Soldier, resident of Decatur Co Ga entered the 1827 land Lottery and drew land in Coweta Co. Nov. 10, 1829 being described as Lot 17, District 9. of the 4th section containing 2021/2 acres. The survey showed the residense of Thomas Fain to be in Douglas District, Decatur Co.
