That's a shame! Do you know if he had a sibling that lived beyond 1913? That might be a solution!

I did find him in the 1910 Dallas Co., TX census as a widower with five sons! In 1900 he was in Texas > Denton > Justice Precinct 5 > District 54. His wife was Minnie G. born July 1875.

He is probably the John H. age 8 in the 1880 census in TX. I think we discussed him as a possibility.
