I have a second great grandmother, Polly Ann Phailling, who mrd. in Elkhart Co., In., Horace (Fitz) Randolph, Dec. 1841. I have seen her surname spelled Faling, Fail(l)ing and Phailing, plus Faley. She was b. 25 Sep 1824-5, Ohio. For parents, all I have is John Phailling, b. N.Y. and Flora, b. Mass. Anyone who has a clue about John and Flora, please let me know. Also would like to know if people of this name were Quakers. Thanks, GN
