Joseph Fahy was my great grandfather. His wife was Bertha Ely. My grandmother was Hazel (theresa) Fahy. As I hear it Joseph was an accountant for the great northern railroad and through this affiliation could travel freely. He would go to a new town start a business and send for Bertha and the kids. in ~1920 Bertha told him if he did it again they were not coming. When the situation repeated and the family didn't follow they never saw him again. I have found a Draft registration listing a residence in brown south dakota in 1920 that may be him.
