Geneaology is so interesting. Was William born in Ohio? If so, he could be Louis' son. I have Louis Fagnan married to Annie Cummings in Cuyhoga County, Cleveland in 1878c. Louis Fagnan and Annie Cummings are my greatgrandfather and greatgrandmother on my fathers side. All I have found is the marriage license, no death certificate or other information. My father remembered his grandfather as "Frenchie" and coming from Canada. If William was born in the late 1800's we could have a connection. Stay in touch.
