The Earliest Fagin we know of was Abraham the grandfather of my Grandfather Maurice b. 10/April/1907 or 10/Nov/1907 in Swansea Wales. He had a music recording buisness in South Africa called Troubadour, he returned to England in the 1960s. Maurice's father was called Harris. We dont know of his birthdate, He was a travelling salesman I think. Harris's brother Alfred emigrated to Argentina at the same time as Harris went to South Africa. Alfred who was a diamond dealer, changed his name to Alfredo Fagan and had a son called Ted who was the first English/Spnish interpreter for the United Nations. Abraham was supposed to have come from Russia in the 1800s. I would like to hear from anyone with more information on our line. Regards Ben Fagin
