My Fagg family connection is through my ancestor Susanah Mathis, who was from Tenn. & Illinois. Susanah Mathis first married a Philip Carter, and then after he died she married a Robert Fagg in Southern Illinois, Williamson County. Susanah & Robert had one son by the name of William Robert Fagg, born 1861 in Illinois. William married in Southern Illinois a woman by the name of Mary O'Neal. In Illinois William Robert Fagg and Mary had 3 children, and the birth years are approx: Allen b. 1886, Gracey b. 1862, Marion b. 1890. This shows the family was in Illinois in 1890. The ALL above family members left for Texas in the late 1890's, and my ancestor, the daughter of Susanah Fagg and half sister of William Robert Fagg supposedly never saw her family again.
I found recently the families below in the 1910 census for Cherokee County Texas, Jacksonville area I imagine, and would like to connect with anyone researching or part of this family.
WILLIAM ROBERT FAGG, AGE 48, BORN IN IL WITH SPOUSE MARY FAGG, AGE 48 BORN IN KY. Their children:
Gracey, Dau. age 20 born in IL
Marion , Son age 18 born in IL
Judy, Dau age 15 born in TX
Ira, Son age 12 born in Tx
Martha, dau age 9 born in TX
Allen Fagg age 24, born in IL with spouse Mary age 16, born in MS. A boarder is listed with them, J.F. Trawick, widowed, age of 45 years.
