I am just starting my search from a family that knows little history-My great grandmother was Elma Charlotte Funke Sand born Gerardy, Kansas daughter of Ernest Funke, emigrated from Germany. It is thought he may have emigrated around 1915. He married a woman with the surname Lampe but I dont have her first name. My great grandmother was one of 9 children, one still surviving in Powell, Wyoming. Any traces beyond this would be helpful!
