Thelma, I believe the first Ezzell-Rackley marraige was Rueben Ezzell to Sarah Rackley around 1786. I have also seen information that Rueben was the son of Mikel and that he had a brother named Benjamin. Do you know if Mikel had any other Sons and do you know any more about Benjamin and his children. I am hoping to find info leading to my Ancestor, William P. Ezell born about 1801 in N.C. (later moved to Alabama then to Miss.) You mentioned once that he might be Parham Ezell but I don't think he is. Maybe a relative of Parham and this might be what the P. stands for. Any info appreciated. Thanks - Leigh Ann. You can respond on this forum or try my e-mail (not sure if e-mail is up and running - new service)
