I am looking for the parents of FIELDING EZELL.
b VA 1798, d TN after 1860
m Elizabeth Dodd in Williamson Co TN 1820
children: unknown, America, Joseph, Sarah Ann, Adaline, Fielding A., Thomas.
I don't know Fielding's parents, or when he came to TN
Fielding lived "next door" to Balaam Ezell, the Baptist minister Williamson Co TN. Fielding was a witness to Balaam's will. Fielding left shortly thereafter and moved to Weakley Co TN. What was his relationship to Balaam?
He was a school teacher and a farmer. His son Fielding A. died in the Civil War.
Samuel Dodd signed the marriage bond for Elizabeth in 1820...I do not know if that is her father or not. She was born in N.C.
Any clues would help.
