I don't have any of my genealogy info out, but I am related to Christian Lau and Christian Eyster twice (each of them). Christian Lau's familyis supposed to be the 2nd European settler group in West Manchester Township. I think it's from Christian Lau's records, but they befriended the Native Americans when they arrived and lived in wigwam-like structures.I believe the Eysters and Laus lived close to one another and they went to the same church.
Christian Lau's land was on the river (begins with a "C"... sorry, doing this from memory) which was flooded by the Army Corps of Engineers. Michael Lau sent me a copy of their inventory of buildings that were still in existence a good 30 years or more ago. There is a map of where things were. I remember that there was a cold storage area built into the ground. That much being said, I think that Christian Eyster's farm layout may be similar to Christian Lau's. Michael Lau might be able to help. He's in the York County area and I think is also a descendant of Christian Eyster.
