Judy, Thank you for your reply.
WOW!! Could there be TWO Elizabeth Ann EYRES born the same day? Not likely, and expecially married to a HEACOCK.Elizabeth died 25 Dec 1862. Do you have the same date for her death? I have the marriage license of Elizabeth Ann EYRES to John HAYCOCK/HEACOCK in Tuscarawas Co., OH Marriage record book 1808-1844 pg 98 Doc. 784 on the 22 December 1825 filed in the Court of Common Pleas by George Davis, J.P. The will of John P.(yle) HEACOCK is in Probate Court Tuscarawas Co. OH Will Records Book 1810-1864 pg 185. John names Elizabeth Ann HEACOCK as his "beloved wife" and his 5 children are listed as Samuel E., Joseph L., Nathan L., Sarah Ann, & Mariam Eliza HEACOCK. I descend from the youngest child, Nathan Lemuel HEACOCK b. 24 June 1846. He married Elizabeth Jane COOK. Jane gave my mother a hand written genealogy of the family HEACOCK and todate I have found all her data to be correct with the exception of one date to be off by one day. This was given to me by my mother who had 4 generations of artifacts and pictures from her maternal grandmother, Jane COOK HEACOCK.
I would like to compare your findings with mine.
Also, I would like to see your Adam EYRES/AYRES lineage back to Eng. I have 15 generations on the HEACOCKs (Quakers) back to ENG 1576.
Please e-mail me asap.
