Great-grandfather: James William Eyre (Eayre)
Born: March 16, 1869 in Callen, Kilkenny, Ireland
Parents: William Eayre and Frances Christy
James came to the US, into Ellis Island on April 13, 1899 on the SS Teutonic. Departed from Queenstown, Ireland. His occupation was coachman. This was found easily on the Ellis Island website. He lived with an uncle (real or friend of the family, I don't know, but listed as Uncle): Robert Bradley of Manhattan who was just a few years younger than James, and also from Ireland (whole Bradley family immigrated in 1883 from Ireland). Is this Frances' brother ???
Does anyone have access to Callen, Kilkenny, Ireland records?
