Searching for any information on MILES EYRES.
He married Eliza(?)and had 2 children:
Thomas T. Eyres-b. 1829
Amelia Eyres - b. 1834
He and Eliza and children were on a wagon train to Oregon in 1843. He drowned in the Snake River while trying to cross. He lost everything, team, wagon, & money. Eliza & children were fearful and were in a different wagon, so they were safe. Eliza & Thomas went on to Oregon. Amelia was left with a family in Idaho. She later came to Oregon & joined Eliza & Thomas.
