Thanks for your reply. Actually, the given name Rowland caught my eye. I vaguely remembered a Rowland EYRE marrying an Anne SMITH. I have been looking at connections between the families of EYRE, SMITH & ROGERS whether from the Derbyshire or the Wiltshire branch of EYREs. Your Rowland EYRE is too late for my interest which I didn't stop to think of at the time. I just saw the name Rowland and reacted.
