have been working on my family's geneology now for 2 years and i have hit a road block, and would like your help.
I have been trying to find out where my grandpa's father came from in Germany, and i have not been successfull.
The person i am trying to find is a Charles Eyman. Charles Eyman was born 1855, arrived in the United States at the age of 26 on June 17th, 1881. The first name could of been Carl or Karl since that means charles in German.
was Naturalized October 10th, 1884 in Fountain County, Indiana.
What i would like to find out is.......
1. What state was he born in Germany?
2. Where did he port to when he came to the United States?
3. Who were his parents (names)?
4 When did he die? (I am assuming he died between 1910 to 1915, maybe Kansas)
Charles Eyman was married twice that i know of. one wife was named Cathrine Hartman. he was married to her December 22nd, 1883 in Fountain County, Indiana. (they were married for about 17 years) The second wife was Marcella Kelly. He married her in 1909 i believe in Kansas or Missouri. Marcella was from Missouri. I think they were married for about 4 years. It was Marcella's first marriage. What happened after Charles Eyman died, Marcella abandoned her children in Kansas and later married a man by the name of Charles Killion and moved to Michigan. My grandpa Henry Eyman(n) was one of the children that she abandoned. he was around 3 or 4 years old.
If you could help me that would be great!! I have been on your website, and you sure have done a great job researching the eymann family.
