Hi Susan. I can't tell you the program I used. It was my own. It was hard to make sense of the other programs and I had to keep switching from page to page to find the children of the parents and on and on. I use Generation numbers like (1) or (2) or (3) etc. If a child is adopted it is listed as 1. 2. 3. etc. I don't give it a generation # as they are not straight blood lines of the family. They are, however, very much a child of the adopting parents,and are given the status of what order they were in and their husbands, in-laws, children, grandchildren and so on. Child by Adoption: 1. name, birthdate, death, etc Children from this marriage: 2. (2) name, birthdate, death, etc. 3. (2) " " " " Their children whould be a generation (3) Notify Administrator about this message?
