I may have some information. Our tree has a Simon Whetstone Sr. b10-6-1808 d 1850 or 1859.
Married to Nancy Hire

Their son is Simon Whetstone Jr. b 2-5-1837 d 2-12-1880
Married Frances A Richardson 8-21-1864

Their Daughter Mary Jane Whetstone was my husband's g grandmother.

I have more details. I believe Simon's parents were George Whetstone and Mary Eyman. I also have some information on Simon Sr. wifes family.
