According to the 1860 census in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Williams father was George EYERMAN (of course it was spelled wrong "Eihlman"). George was born in 1809 in Baden, Germany, his wife was listed as Mary born 1819/20, in Wurttemberg, again according to the census.

George and Mary had the following children :
1. Fannie born in 1844, in Pa.
2. Philpin born in 1847, in Pa.
3. Joseph born in 1849, in Baden
4. Mary born in 1850, in Pa.
5. John born in 1855, in Pa.
6. William Charles born in 1857 or 1858, in Pa.
7. Frank born in 1857, in Pa.
8. George J. born in 1859/61, in Pa.

So with a child born in Germany in 1849, I know they did travel back to see their people. But I've yet to be able to find any manifest on any of them.

George was not on the 1870 census with Mary (under Evrman), and her children nor any census after that. On that same census Frank was listed as being born in 1851, also with Joseph and Frank both being born in Baden.

By the 1880 census Mary was living with son George Eyerman.

The father George and mother Mary remained in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. throughout their lives. So did their sons William and George J.. Frank moved on to Brooklyn, NYC with his son Frank.

Who were George's and Mary's parents, and where exactly are they from ? When did they die and where were they buried ?

Where did the rest of the children go and who did they marry and so forth ?

Love to hear from you if you know of anything of any of these people.

Love to hear any ideas on this line !

Thank You,

Debby Malecki
