Joseph Wilhelm EYERMANN immigrated from Germany to St. Louis, MO in about 1851. He was followed, about a year later, by 3 brothers: Gottlieb, August, and Karl (who seems to have appeared in census and other places as John and later Charles EYERMANN); about 20 years later a 5th EYERMANN, Christian H., who may have been a nephew, arrived in St. Louis. Joseph Wilhelm married twice and had 10 children. I believe that Karl/Charles had 5 children; that Gottlieb married twice and had 5 children + two step-children; and that August married twice and had two children; Christian also seems to have married twice and to have had 2 children. I have, though census, city directories, obits, and other sources, tracked these St. Louis Eyermanns and have a fair idea of who they were and what they were doing over the years. I would be happy to share information, and would be thrilled to learn more. Jeanne
