My Grandfather remembers Christopher Eye visiting them in Kansas around 1910.It was during a Memorial Day service and Christopher was not honored because he had been a Confederate soldier.Christopher is listed in the 1870 cesus and proves that he was born in 1824 and married to a woman named Polly (may be a nickname for Mary Dorsey?).We are related to Christopher's son, Cornelius.Christopher's father is so far a mystery.Henry Eye(listed on the 1810 census as Henry How) supposedly died in 1813 which means he could not possibly be Christopher's father.I have requested a copy of Henry's will from Pendleton County, WV and is should list the names of his children.Should have this information in about 2 weeks.
