I have in my records: Elizabeth EXTON b. 1833 in Edmondthorpe, Leic., England, daughter of Francis EXTON b. 1804 in Edmondthorpe ,Leic., England d. 1870 in 1Q Edmondthorpe, Leic., England; and Mary SHARP b. 1804 in Barrow, Rutland, England. Francis and Mary had these children: Hannah b. 1826, William b. 1828, John b. 1830, *Elizabeth* b. 1833, Hannah (Ann) b. 1835, **Thomas** b. 1838, Eliza b. 1841, and Francis b. 1846. *Elizabeth EXTON married John VEASEY b.1831 in Whissendine, England and d. 1911 in Wymondham. Elizabeth died in 1913 in Wymondham, Leic., England. Elizabeth and John had a son, William VEASEY b. April 26, 1859.

I can go back two more generations: Francis EXTON b. 1764 d. 1851 m. Elizabeth HARRIS b. Abt. 1766 d. 1844; and Thomas EXTON b. Abt 1735 d. 1799 m. Mary KNOWLES b. 1735 d. 1797. Are these your ancestors?

My husband, Lester Exton, is descended from the Thomas EXTON (1838 - 1872) line, your Elizabeth's brother. Thomas's son, George EXTON, [and two of his brothers, Thomas H., and John] emigrated to the U.S. He was my husband's great grandfather. And we are still here in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania, USA.

We have been told that there is an Austrailian connection to the EXTON family. It's nice to finally know that it is true. Would you like to exchange information? You may reply directly to me at
