My mother was an Exley. The name had been changed from Oecshle and at least one is buried under that name in Sullivan County, Penna. I've been loking for other relatives for 25 years. Our family claimed to have been from Murrhardt, Germany or close by. The oldest I know of was August Oecshle born abt. 1833. I have a Web Site called Hatton-Exley at http://hattonexley.homestead.com/
Upper left side there's a gray bar, click on that and it will take you to my World Connect Site.Gordon Rudolphus Exley designed the Subway System and cars for the City of Philadephia. Hope we can find a connection, Ernest
