My Exley anscestor came from Yorkshire to Savannah late 1700's, he, John, was married to Mary Wooten, and one son John ,my ggrandfather, who became a foster son of a Mr. Zettler in Effingham County , Georgia, which is the adjoining county to Chatham , which is where Savannah is located.
