Cheryl,

Thank you so much for responding to my post!

I know for sure that my 4th great grand aunt, Margaret Ewing, married a William McCauley (both born in Ireland). I really don't know much about them, only that they had 5 children (not entirely sure of all of them either).

I have old family letters that say something about an "Annie" in Kenton, OH. I don't know who she is, but maybe she is the daughter or the wife of James Ewing Jr. or another son of James Ewing Sr. that I have heard nothing about.

I am literally in the dark when it comes to all of this information. I also recently learned that Margaret and Williams' daughter, Ella Violet, married a William G. Ewing (whose parents are also from Ireland). It may be possible that these two groups of Ewings might be distantly related back in Ireland.

I am hoping that one of these groups are the Ewings you are speaking of. Also, information on my 5th great grandfather, James, is also greatly appreciated. I am also not 100% sure his name was James.
