What I have is somewhat limited. The only thing I have found about Brinkley Ewing was an abstract of his will and a registration for a mark with the state of Delaware. I'll definitely have to go through the Historical Society here and see if I can find more. I lucked upon his will abstract which mentioned his grandson William Hargis while looking for the Hargis family.

I am descended through Annie Meriah Warren, daughter of Willen Warren and Mary R. Hargis. Annie married Benjamin Burton Deputy in 1863. I do have the Family Bible of Willen which lists their children and the information about Willen and Mary. It does include the marriage of John M. Hargis and Sarah Ewing in August 1799.

I believe Sarah died before 1810. At the time of John Hargis' death his widow was Ellis Hargis. I do have a copy of the administration bond of his estate but unfortunately it doesn't list any children's names.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have scanned the Warren/Hargis Bible and put it online. I would be glad to share the link with you if you are interested.
