I am trying to find descendants of James C. Ewing who was a Private in Company B, 2nd North Carolina Junior Reserves during the war between the states. He was born in 1847 and died 6/2/1906. He is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina. He and 42 other Confederate soldiers in two sections of the cemetery will be receiving new headstones. There will be a dedication ceremony in May of 2009.
