Thanks for posting the full will and codicil of William Ewing. I had seen parts of it but had not seen the entire will. Do you have any additional information on Betsy & Polly, daughters of Caleb Ewing mentioned in William's will?
I am hoping to find guardianship for them or dispersal records from William Ewing's estate, etc.
I believe that the "Polly Ewing" is my ancestor. One record stated that she and her sister, Betsy/Elizabeth, "went to Ky. with a near relative."
(My) Mary Polly Ewing m. Richard Berry Jr. in Mercer Co, Ky. 22 Oct 1794. Her son was named "Caleb Ewing Berry." She also named her first daughter "Elizabeth Ewing Berry." There was also a strong Mitchell connection. She named another daughter Margaret Mitchell and another son Robert Mitchell.
I realize you are probably coming from Anna C. Ewing's side of the family but I would appreciate any thoughts or clues that you might find.
