Hi Barbie,Thank you so much for your time and interest! Yes, these are 'my' Rattenbury's. Henry (70yrs) and Charlotte (Long) are my gr.gr.gr. grandparents. Their son, William (44yrs) is my gr.gr grandfather and Lottie's (18yrs) father. Lottie and Harry's (19yrs) mother was Matilda Ewing. She died within a couple year's of Lottie's birth. William then married Matilda's sister, Isabella Ewing. Maggie (14yrs), William (12yrs) and Bessie (8yrs) are their children. Henry (41yrs) is William's (44yrs) brother. They have another brother, Thomas, who lived in the Detroit-area (I beieve that is still Wayne County). Henry (41yrs)married Sarah (Macomber) (in Michigan, I believe) and their children are listed as you show. Thomas married Matilda Ganaway in Ash Church, Cheltenham, Glouchestershire, England. Thomas is 10-15 years older than his brothers,William and Harry so I am not sure if he appears in the 1880 census or not...Henry (70yrs) and Charlotte (Long) were married in Little Dean, Cheltenham?, Glouchestershire, England ca.1835. The emmigrated from England to Michigan with their three sons ca.1849. This is the branch of my tree on which I have the most information because they immigrated so early. Aren't U.S. census records a wonderful tool for genealogy research??!!ccarol
