I saw your posting re: Ewert. Do you have any info on "Slim" Ewert (sorry I do not know his real name)? He married Azile Penner (b-1921 ND?) "Slim" may have worked in the oil fields in MT. They later lived in Winton CA. They had a son named William, he had a son named Dawson V. Azile would have been my great aunt, and after she died (in the 60's) my family lost contact with "Slim."
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
