Not a definite. But I have looked for her parents. I am also interested in this spelling-Ewen, rather than Ewan. Joseph Ewen was in the area at the time. This is what I have on him. Remember he is a good possibility. He may be the one who changed the spelling of Ewan to Ewen Probably the one listed in NJ Rateables 1773 & 1774 Willingboro Twp. Assessments. He is listed as a householder (ie not owner) of land. Joseph Ewan found in: Colonial America, 1607-1789 Census Index State: NJ County: Burlington Co. Location: Willingborough Twp Page #: 118 Census/Enumeration year: 1773 If the above is ever proven, then he may be a son of Ambrose Ewan (1712-1762)who married Ann Fenton. Ambrose was a son of John.
