Ok, I am just a little confused. You are in Ukraine? So is Ukraine actually in Russia? And Prussia...is now Russia? Boy, you should really be talking to my husband, Lee, he is the history and geography person in my family. I can bring him something (papers)about genealogy and he will ask me, do you know what is going on during this time? And tell me in terms of history... I just love it when he tells me that one our ancestors is running the hills the same time as....say Daniel Boone...but then, imagine where you are! Our country is not near as old as yours!!!!!
So are you near where Charles and Almeda is from? I have so much for you I don't even know where to start. All these thoughts are swimming around in my head!
You are alittle ahead of me on the scanning and sending pictures.....we have to wait, until someone comes to my house that knows how to do it...but I will need your email address, I can copy, print and scan, but when I try to put it in a file, nothing happens. When my son, Mike taught me that program he did it so fast, I'm like, that's easy....well after he was gone,,,it wasn't so easy!
Last night at 6:50 pm my daughter, Kari had her first child! So I have a Granddaughter, 7 lbs 9 ozs 21 inches long! Together we have 9 Grandchildren now....(but this is my first biological) And we have not had a baby girl born in the family since 1984!
Re Charles headstone - I believe the one that you saw in the cemetery, with the picture on it was William. The reason I say that is because I have a picture of it.
You know what? When I started looking for Ewe and discovered that there was not a forum for them, I figured that this was the next best thing! It WORKED,too!
