I am a Ewbank researcher and had a correspondence about a year ago with one of the Inglis family on Genes Reunited. His grandmother was definitely from your Ewbank family. As well as Henry Thomas Ewbank and Alfred Randall Ewbank there were other children in this family:

Margaretta was the one who married John Inglis
my correspondent's information was that Henry Ewbank senior had originally come from Cumbria (The old Westmorland and Cumberland), wher of course so many Ewbanks came from. Robin Ewbank, Hampshire, England
