I have a distant link to the EWBANK name - Henry EWBANK married Ellen Emma SWAIN, daughter of Thomas Randall SWAIN and Harriette CUSS who married 1843, Lambeth Surrey .
Henry EWBANK ( a linen collar cutter in 1881) married Ellen Emma SWAIN ( b 1843 ) 1868 in Westminster,London. They had at least 4 children -one son, Henry Thomas EWBANK who married Annie Louisa CLARK 1897- they had at least 2 children - Doris lilian who died aged 4 and a son Henry Thomas b 1902.
Another son, Alfred Randall EWBANK b 1883, married 1906 in Lambeth - possibly to Ada Jane Richards
Ellen Emma SWAIN's sister, Harriette Mary SWAIN married a relative of mine - Sampson Knott REYNOLDS
The SWAIN family were in the book binding business as was my Galiegue family who had married into the REYNOLDS family many years earlier.
