Samuel Ewart b. 1773 Northumberland Co., PA. Settled in Livingston Co., NY in 1796 and died in 1818. His wife was Elizabeth Magee b. 1796 New Jersey. He was in the war of 1812. They married in 1817. They had three children:
1.May A. Ewart who m. Edward Patchin
2.Hannah Ewart
3.Elizabeth Ewart
